After bringing J to the emergency room we were very impressed by the qualified care he received. I had to leave him because he needed to stay overnight. I was relieved to meet Jackie the next morning! Her “bright spirit” shone brightly in the room. It was quite obvious that the 4th floor was very short-staffed on that particular day, but she maintained a professional balance all day. The knowledge of her profession was a glow in the room. She took the time to share her experiences, which comforted us immensely. She always made us feel that J mattered no matter how busy she was. Being Released from the hospital became difficult because of the shortage of help. With her knowledge of the system, she made it happen. We are extremely grateful for the respect and compassion she showed J and me during his stay. “Do what you love, because Jackie does.”
