It was Tuesday when I came into the hospital for a skin graph on my leg from an accident I had at work. Got backed over by a forklift. Well, when they brought me to my room Jackie was there with the most pleasant personality I've seen in a long time. She made me feel very comfortable and it took away some of the anxiety that I had a big problem with. Jackie was always making sure I had everything I needed and showed a very good bedside manner. Her concern for my anxiety really surprised me because when she heard that I have no insurance and am in need of anxiety meds, she took it upon herself to get me help. Jackie called to have a video meeting with a therapist and was able to get me on something that will help me. It is so amazing that such a young lady is doing so well and I admire her for this. Jackie is also the charge nurse for her floor which shows her strength and knowledge in her field of work. Jackie is also a very timely nurse who brings meds on time and always asks how you are feeling. She takes those couple of minutes to talk with her patients. These are the reasons I believe Jackie is a DAISY Nurse. Jackie is an amazing nurse and a genuinely good-hearted person.
