In the Pediatric Unit, there was a family member of a patient, who told a surgeon and a staff member that they were financially struggling this year and needed help this Christmas. Jackie responded, by purchasing a Christmas tree and decorating it to help this family celebrate Christmas. The Child Life Specialist and staff worked in tandem with Jackie, to provide gifts from the donations, for the children in this family to give them a Christmas. Jackie's generosity brought this family to tears, all were overcome by the joy of the season.

"Jackie is more than a nurse, we are calling her our "Christmas Angel". She gave B all that she wanted this year. Her wish was for a Christmas tree. Jackie went out of her way and gave beyond her responsibility. I guarantee this is something you do not often see. From our family to Jackie- thank you!"
