When my husband had surgery at your hospital, I was impressed with the courtesy, friendliness, and excellent service provided by your nursing staff. Jakela had all these qualities, but I'm nominating her because she did more. She eliminated the nervousness of my husband and the fears I had for him. Jakela talked to us, reassured us, all the while being a professional and providing needed care. She made me feel confident. She helped my husband feel comfortable. She made sure we weren't left unattended when we needed help. This may not seem like anything, she went above and beyond for me. People that come to the hospital are frightened, alone, and are unsure of themselves. Jakela made the difference for us.
