Ivan brought a ray of light into a room that was much needed in a hospital. I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism, courtesy, and empathy. He was personable and willing to share the beauty of the Philippines. Not once did he make me feel uncomfortable making small requests or asking the same questions. I'd give him an "A," as would my wife.

I've been an attorney for 43 years.  During that time, I've watched the younger lawyers enter the field without a full appreciation of cultural norms, the need to cue protocols, and the general need to be courteous.  The hospital experience here at Carroll has been exceptional.  Nurses like Ivan are quite unusual.  He presents well and is professional and caring in his words and demeanor.  Ivan's attention to detail is comforting.  He smiles and takes his time even if, ultimately, he is proceeding quickly.  After days of angst and worry, we found ourselves absolutely peaceful when Ivan arrived.  Not once did he growl or flinch or project an unwillingness to provide stellar care.  What a gem!  Ivan is a great reflection of what this hospital has to offer, and I would never hesitate to recommend this hospital to anyone.
