After working as an RN for more than 17 years, I have encountered several great nurses, but none have impressed me more than Jim. I have never seen him shun any patient assignment, and in fact, he often goes "above and beyond" -- helping out everyone he works with and encounters. He is sincere and modest, and more than worthy of public recognition.

I have interacted with James many times over the years. I have also observed his interactions with other staff members. It is not about just one instance or story with him. He is unlike any other nurse I have worked with. He always comes forward to help take care of things - whether it is patient care, helping fellow staff members, or just help with anything.
The thing that is unique about him is that he is so unassuming and humble. He gets everything done in a silent, calm way that people might not be able to recognize it and give him due credit. But he is always there as a strong backbone support and goes out of his way to help everyone around him. An excellent nurse, a true team player with a great personality.
