I wanted to take the time to recognize the incredible work of Jami Lau, RN, who serves as an educator for the Mobile ICU and other areas within Arnold Palmer Hospital. Jami’s commitment to ensuring that our team has the education and resources we need to provide a high level of care has not gone unnoticed. As I have transitioned into my new role as an evolving leader, I have found Jami’s support to be invaluable. She is always willing to help in any way she can, her guidance and expertise have been instrumental in helping me navigate the challenges of a new position. Recently, Jami went above and beyond to elevate our simulation experience by incorporating real-life scenarios in the helicopter. By establishing competencies for our new paramedic role and pediatric transfer center RN role, she has helped to ensure that our team is well-prepared to provide the best possible care to our patients. Jami truly embodies the spirit of teamwork, and her passion for her work is evident in the dedication and hard work she puts in every day. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her positive attitude helps to motivate and inspire those around her. I am truly grateful for all of Jami’s hard work, passion, and dedication to our team. It is my belief that Jami deserves to be recognized as an exceptional team member who consistently goes above and beyond to support and uplift those around her.
