I was in a lot of pain and Jamie pulled out all the stops and spoke to the physicians on my behalf in order to help me, even though she had many other patients to take care of.
Jamie was absolutely wonderful to work with. I just can't thank her enough for advocating for me and trying to help me manage the intense pain I was feeling because I was unable to get a nerve block. I was in a lot of pain and Jamie pulled out all the stops and spoke to the physicians on my behalf in order to help me, even though she had many other patients to take care of. She went above and beyond to try to come up with other possible options. She also made it a point to talk to the RN on the 3rd floor to let him know what was going on and how much pain I was in! I can't say enough wonderful things about her and her strong work ethic, her ability to go above and beyond the call of duty to advocate for her patients to give them the best possible experience!
I couldn't get a nerve block for a variety of reasons during my total knee replacement and was in a significant amount of pain. She advocated on my behalf to find solutions that reduced my pain level and brought it down to a tolerable level, even though it was more work on her behalf and it took more organization of patient care. Despite busy floors with a lot of patients to deal with, I often felt like I was the only patient! Just her encouragement helped me push myself forward and get moving! The positivity and empathy she displayed were off the charts! I will have future surgical procedures at this hospital because of my experience!
