Janae, arrived in the ED from TBP to offer bereavement support to a pediatric patient and her family. She provided care for the child and family by brushing the child's hair and creating a braided locket as a gift for her parents. After the parents lost their daughter, she obtained handprints as a keepsake. Janae devoted her time that day to implementing service standards of "Love Me" for the patient and family and "Make It Easy" for the ED personnel who were dealing with the loss of their patient. Janae has the utmost compassion for families that suffer a loss. She demonstrated such caring to go above and beyond for this family in the ED. Leaving the comfort zone on labor and delivery to help the team in the emergency room navigate what needed to be done for their patient, family, and doctor. We are blessed to call her one of our own here on The Baby Place. Janae is a ROCKSTAR! I'm very grateful to have her on my team.
