Janet K Johnson, RN
Janet is the epitome of Florence Nightingale. I am a nurse myself and now a patient. Janet exuded calmness, confidence, and compassion from the moment I met her. She worked with my infusion and two units of blood transfusion for a period of 4 hours during my stay in the unit. Her smile never faded away.
She went deeper and observed me. She saw I was praying and even offered to pray with me. To me, this was exemplary, to spend a few minutes (of her busy schedule) to pray with her patient, a patient-centered approach. Faith is healing in itself!!!
Janet made sure I was comfortable and equipped with information to bring home. She deserves the DAISY Award. She rocks! The world is a better place with compassionate nurses like her; she makes her patients feel valued and loved. God bless you, Janet. Forever grateful.
