I was scared and confused and overwhelmed at my first appointment at Radiology for lung cancer. Janet introduced herself in a professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, respectful, confident, and competent manner and immediately put me at ease. She explained things thoroughly in a way that I could understand. Over time, my respect and confidence in her increased even more and I was deeply impressed by her excellence as a nurse and human being. To me, she was also an integral part of the entire Radiology team (which was also quite excellent). She helped me overcome complications of my disease and treatment. Janet helped me maintain safety and improve comfort and health in my home environment by helping me to identify issues and offered resolved. She communicated well with my adult children who often accompanied me for my visits. They also benefited from her work with me.
