The patient was at Inspira for about 16 days prior to her transfer to another facility. Per the patient's granddaughter, about 10 out of the 16 days the patient had nurse Janita Hutchinson. The granddaughter would like to thank Janita for the love, encouragement, and compassion that she showed not only to the patient but also to the family. The granddaughter stated that she truly appreciates the love that Janita gave to her grandmother when the family could not be there with her. Per the granddaughter, when the family would call for updates, Janita provided the updates with a loving heart. The granddaughter also appreciated and loved how Janita was a champion and cheerleader to let her grandmother know that she needed to fight and be strong. The granddaughter stated that her grandmother passed away on Saturday but she is at peace knowing that her grandmother was loved and treated with the best care, all thanks to Janita. The granddaughter stated that thanks to Janita, the last memories of her grandmother are beautiful and she cannot express how much that meant to her and the family.

Since joining the 2 East team, Janita has been dedicated to providing the "wow" experience to everyone she encounters. She regularly receives compliments from her peers for her willingness to help and her upbeat attitude. Janita goes above and beyond to deliver compassionate and personable care to her patients. She is regularly mentioned by patients in leadership rounds with comments such as: "I love her attitude, she keeps me smiling" and "I was happy to see that she was going to be my nurse again today."
