Jason was so compassionate and empathetic to my Mom, who was very afraid and confused after emergency heart surgery.
I had unexpected quadruple bypass surgery recently. Jason gave me excellent care while being compassionate and attentive. It was a rough few days, and I was glad to see him walk into my room. Toward the end of my stay, he came in to tell me that he was the charge nurse for the shift, so I would have another excellent nurse looking after me. From my room, I could see him very busy attending to all the floor patients and helping the other staff. But he would take a few moments to stop and check on me every once in a while. He's not just a great nurse but a really nice person.

Jason was so compassionate and empathetic to my Mom, who was very afraid and confused after emergency heart surgery. His calming demeanor and patience with her and the rest of the family were above and beyond caring for his patient. He also took the time to explain what was happening to her and why. We also left each day feeling that my mom was in good hands and that he would do the same thing for her as any of her family would. We just wanted to thank Jason for being there when we couldn't!
P - Healing all people.....Most would view an 84-year-old at the end of her time. Jason saw her as someone's mom, sister, and grandmother who were not willing to let go of her yet. E - Empaths ..Jason was empathetic to the family's distress in having her restrained. He explained the whys and promised to undo the restraints as soon as it was safe for her. T - Trust...We trust Jason to take care of her as if she were his own grandmother. A - Admirable..Jason was very patient with the various questions and demands of all the family members, sometimes answering the same questions multiple times a day. L - Love..you could tell Jason loves his job and would always greet us with a smile when he saw us. He also would talk to my mom to help calm her down S - Selflessness..Jason would stop what he was doing when he could to address any issues or concerns we had while we were visiting.
