I just want to recognize Jason for taking great care of me in the PACU. Coming out of anesthesia, people are always so vulnerable because they are still feeling the effects, but I felt very comfortable and at ease because of Jason's help.
When I got to the PACU, not only did I feel like I came out of anesthesia ugly crying, I also was in a lot of pain and extremely itchy. Jason was so quick to try to get me comfortable with appropriate medications. I was not pleasant and whining, but Jason just listened. He was kind, reassuring me he would do everything he could to get the pain and itching under control.
After a while, I was asked to stand up to get in a wheelchair. I thought they were crazy, but through it all, Jason was the encouragement I needed to make the painful move from bed to chair. Once I was in the recovery room, Jason made sure I got more pain medicine before he left me.
I just want him to know that all he did for me did not go unnoticed and I appreciated all that he did to get me comfortable and settled into recovery. Thank you so much!
