Jaya Jinu communicates effectively and professionally with the staff, team, and patients at all levels. She provides patient-centered care, yielding positive patient outcomes. She is committed to the working environment, has strong clinical skills, and is always professional. She mentors new staff by guiding them on how to develop more self-confidence and regularly uses critical thinking skills. Ms. Jinu is also a charge nurse who is knowledgeable in policy and procedure and re-enforces principles of Patients Experience and ICARE Modules with the staff. She demonstrates a high level of caring skills to families, patients, and co-workers in getting the work done and is able to problem solve and do immediate service recovery. Finally, she provides compassionate care to the patients, continually applying effective critical thinking skills to decrease staff and patients' anxiety and fear during demanding situations of staffing constraints on the Med-Surg units.
