Jeda talked to my daughter like a human being and never once made her feel bad or ashamed about what happened to her.
My 18-year-old daughter was admitted after a suicide attempt. Once I got her to the ER, the gravity of the situation hit me, and I was extremely emotional. The staff made sure that my daughter was stable and comfortable. They also provided me with encouragement, comfort, and reassurance that my baby would be okay. Jeda is one of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever encountered in a hospital. During our wait, I soiled my clothes, and she gave me a set of scrubs, underwear, and wipes so I could clean myself up. I was pretty embarrassed about what happened, and she reassured me that it was okay and joked that she’d seen much worse.

Jeda talked to my daughter like a human being and never once made her feel bad or ashamed about what happened to her. They talked about everything from the correct pronunciation of their names, being very small people, and their ethnicities and hair.

It was a very difficult and terrifying situation, and Jeda made it feel as if we were there for a flu shot or some minor thing. I cannot thank her enough for providing my daughter and me with the peace and calm that we needed to get through that day. We were in the ER long enough for Jeda to come back for her next shift, and we were both overjoyed to see her again and say thank you.

Jeda is AMAZING!
