Although I only stayed one night in the Joint Center, Jeff made a huge impression on my wife and me. He was in my room frequently to check on my knee. His demeanor was always pleasant, and he was obviously very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. My wife is a retired nurse and she said Jeff was the best teacher she had ever seen in her 40 years of nursing. He was professional yet very personable. I know I was not his only patient, but he made me feel as though I was. I felt very prepared to go home and was confident I could follow all of my discharge instructions. Jeff is truly the epitome of a caring and compassionate nurse.

My Mom was a patient and had a hip replacement. She actually had her knee replaced in 2021. And Jeff has been her night nurse both times in the Joint Center. Jeff is very kind and thoughtful, smiling and never acting like he was in a hurry even though we knew he was. He’s great at teaching my mom about everything he was doing and what was going on. He’s very thorough, and it’s obvious he has been doing this a little while. He was so kind to my Mom, being gentle with moving her and with his words. Always smiling and positive. I’ve been a nurse for 27 years, and this is not very common. He likes to get to know the patients and share about his family and his animals, which we are very interested in. We really enjoyed having Jeff as our nurse. He deserves Kudos!!
