In addition to providing the best care, it is a healthcare professional's goal to gain the trust and confidence of their patient. That's exactly what Jeffrey did while caring for a patient with COPD and lung cancer. Admitted to the hospital with pneumonia, Jeffery was able to win the courage and confidence of the patient and the patient's family.
"Jeff was a true God-send," the patient's family member wrote. "Each time Jeff walked into the room, Dad relaxed. We all trust Jeff and rely on him like a family member."
With extensive lung complications, Jeffrey was able to provide comfort while explaining the status of his patient's health.
"Jeff was patient in helping us understand what was happening and why. He translated medical terms so we understood. When everything felt threatening, Jeff helped clear up the questions."
