My wife had a goal of attempting to give birth without an epidural, something all the nurses were supportive of from the beginning. The change of shift happened and as day turned to night we shifted from 2 great nurses to another great nurse. But in the midst of the night there needed to be another shift. So we soon found ourselves being looked after by the charge nurse at the time, Jenna. She was clear, compassionate, and helpful. When the labor pains were hitting their highest and my wife was about to change her plan, Jenna stepped in as a composed and wise voice of reason to help her finish what she has started. From that time on Jenna was a champion of helping my wife arrive at the goal of giving birth naturally to our beautiful girl. Though we encountered many great nurses during our stay, Jenna remains the one we remember most for her help and care in such a valuable moment.
