My husband had been in the hospital for several surgeries and then returned to the hospital after being home with an infection from the surgeries. At any rate, we are very glad to be home now. This was indeed a very stressful time for my husband and me. It was uncanny that Jenna would be our nurse each time we returned to the hospital. Jenna was our nurse in the emergency department, on the 5th floor and on the 3rd floor. I liked to think of her as our guardian angel. She went above and beyond to help us. When my husband was in the emergency room, she was able to obtain a hospital bed so his back wouldn’t hurt on those hard emergency room cots. This saved my husband from having to take extra medicine for back pain. Jenna was so good at explaining things to me-it. It seemed she understood that I was just trying to understand what was happening, and I appreciated her knowledge. Jenna has a wonderful attitude and always makes us feel secure when she is on the clock. I felt she was honest, and I could trust her. We appreciated Jenna’s help and attitude so much that I intend to nominate her for a DAISY Award. I hope you can find a way to reward Jenna for being a great nurse!
