In May there was a bad motor vehicle accident and it involved a family with 4 children. When they arrived at the ED, the children were hysterical as the mother and 1 of the children were bleeding. Jenna instantly called me to bring some popsicles to ED “stat”! I didn’t hesitate despite having no idea why she wanted them! She said it was the only thing she could think of to help the kids who weren’t injured, but very traumatized. This is the kind of nurse Jenna is no matter as house supervisor, charge nurse on Acute Care, or staff nurse.
