Jenna was nominated by a staff member at the College of Nursing and Health Innovation, who stated that Jenna is relentless in her effort to make a difference for her patients and their families. Jenna 's heart is full of passion and enthusiasm and it shows with her patient care. She is always there to lend a helping hand and works hard to bring a smile to patients and their families during some of the most difficult times of their lives. I had a patient assignment during my nursing school rotation in which the patient had a DNR order and was being taken off life support. This was not only difficult for me but also my patient. Jenna did not know this patient or their family but saw my distress and immediately stepped in to comfort the patient and their family. This takes a special person to be able to read difficult situations and step in to turn it around for the benefit of the patient. She is selfless in her role as a nurse and it shows through love and compassion for the patients and their families. She has a profound commitment to extraordinary clinical skills and compassionate patient care that makes a difference in the lives of countless patients.
