My dad had Jennifer as a nurse two different times during his stay. She was very professional yet personal. My dad has dementia so he can be a little gruff. She took the time to explain what she was doing each time she came in. She also noticed my dad's sense of humor and joked with him. It helped to put him at ease.
She also took time to explain the care plan to my sister and I so we could be active in the care plan and help his recovery. In addition, she was actively helping get the case manager to find a rehab facility instead of being passive and just waiting for them to contact us.
We very much appreciate Jennifer and her approach to nursing!
