Jennifer Michalczuk did a great job with a patient no one else could get out of restraints. The patient had language barriers but could speak some English. The patient was supposed to be discharged, but no one could keep him calm enough once he was out of his restraints. Jennifer took on the patient and for the next three days worked closely with him to calm him down and used different means to communicate with him and gained his trust. After three days, the patient no longer needed the restraints and was walking around freely and healthy. When the patient left, he could smile, not be angry, and function on his own. Jennifer was so patient and caring and helpful to every nurse who had that patient. The patient could walk out as a different person because of her. The patient was grateful for Jennifer's help and everyone praised her for helping the patient find happiness.
