A patient called in with several questions about the plasmapheresis procedure she was to have done in a few days. The patient and her husband had been researching it on the internet which is generally never good, so they were very worried about the side effects. Jen spent time on the phone with the patient and the husband individually to ease their mind about plasmapheresis. The patient was so grateful that Jen made her feel like she was her only patient and had all the time in the world to answer her questions. By the end of the conversation, the patient and her husband felt way more at ease about the patient having plasmapheresis.
