Jenny supported the team when it worked to become tattoo-free. This has helped to improve overall patient satisfaction. Jenny works with nurses throughout the WI radiation oncology region to improve patient care and education. Jenny utilizes her knowledge and contacts to help patients get the necessary care and scans needed for treatment.
Often, Jenny will take the time to call other departments and imaging to help patients find sooner appointments. Jenny works collaboratively with departments like palliative care to help patients get the comfort and answers they need. All to improve the quality of their lives. Jenny spends numerous hours volunteering her time and supporting cognitively disabled adults. Jenny McMullen has spent the last 37 years of her career dedicated to the patients of SSM Health. Whether it has been in the role of a family medicine RN or radiation oncology RN, Jenny is compassionate and strives to provide the highest quality care for her patients. With her vast experience, Jenny uses her knowledge, skills, dedication, and connections to ensure patients' needs are being met. She exhibits the values necessary for an exemplary nurse while living by the SSM Health Mission. Jenny pours her heart into ensuring patients' needs are met in the radiation oncology department. In an area of care where the goal may not always be a cure, Jenny works with patients to ensure dignity and quality of life. Jenny helped support the radiation oncology department and its mission to become tattoo-free for our patients. This has allowed patients to have one less permanent reminder of their cancer journey.
Jenny is a strong supporter of the Janesville community. She plays an active role in her church and volunteers her time.
