I had a patient that experienced a serious side effect from a drug. Jessica was right there at the bedside advocating for the patient and providing help to the nurses. She also helped facilitate communication between departments. The patient needed imaging in another department, and I did not feel comfortable bringing the patient off the floor alone. Jessica went to other units to gather supplies needed to transport the patient safely. She also helped me transport the patient and stayed with us the whole time. She truly went above and beyond to help care for this patient and help support the nurses on the floor!
