I spent 6 days in the cardio unit this month. The care and professionalism shown by all nurses and tech team members was phenomenal. Due to the nature of this unit, these staff members made this very stressful situation bearable. I feel that I could nominate every one of the amazing nurses that cared for me. I would like to single out Jinan. She was my nurse for 2-day shifts. She is very smart and was able to answer any question that I had regarding my condition. She is all pro and takes her job very seriously. When giving meds, she took the time to explain each med to me and why it was being given. She responded to my call button requests immediately. She was caring yet firm in that there were rules and procedures that had to be followed. I was released very late in the day on my 6th day. Even though it was near the end of her shift, she took the time to complete the discharge and personally review each item in my discharge papers to make sure I was well aware of what I needed to be doing in the upcoming days and weeks. The personal care that she provided is rare. Thank you.
