Our mother was admitted in the ER at GSAM. She is 91 years old and experiencing a severe case of diverticulitis with much blood loss. After several procedures in the ER, she was placed in the CCU unit. Jinny was her evening/overnight nurse. What a blessing to have this special nurse caring for our mother. Jinny gave our mother exceptional care. Her care for our mother was like a family member would give to their cherished loved one. She was extremely gentle in her touch and with her speech. Jinny bathed our mother and promptly checking for any concerns and also making sure our mother's garments and bedsheets were kept dry and clean. She was vigilant in her care and concern for our mother's well being that entire evening. Above all, Jinny calmed not only our mother's fears but the fears we had at the thought of leaving our mother's bedside and going home for the evening. Jinny assured us that our mother's comforts would be met, and our mother was assured that someone very caring was but a moment away if she needed assistance. She is an incredible and exceptional nurse with a beautiful heart and spirit. We have thought about her many times after our mother's discharge and remembered all her kindness toward our mother and our family. Our mother is doing well and back to her feisty self. We are so thankful to have had an angel of a nurse by the name of Jinny that evening watching over and genuinely caring for all aspects of our mother's stay in CCU. A thousand thank yous could not say it all.
