Jisa Johny is one of our nurses in the isolation ward and one of our first-line heroes aiding COVID-19 patients and taking care of them. One of her patients was a geriatric COVID-19 patient. This patient's family, son, and daughters were very worried about leaving their mother in the hospital alone as they knew their mother needed special care and help; also, she does not like to stay in hospitals. At this time, Ms. Jisa assured them that she was there and their mother would not be alone and that she would take care of her. The family was very happy with the care their mother received from Ms. Jisa. Ms. Jisa even canceled her days off to continue her care to the patient until the patient was discharged from the hospital. The patient improved, and the COVID-19 swab became negative. The patient and their family were very thankful to Ms. Jisa for her support and care for their mother from admission to discharge. The patient was very grateful to Ms. Jisa and informed her that she now has a new daughter, and because of her care and psychological support, she overcame COVID-19 and was discharged healthy from the hospital.
