J'Nai Zugates, BSN, RN, LNC
I am a healthcare worker who had just worked a 12 hour shift without lunch. I came home right away because my mother started experiencing chest pain, and I brought her to the amazing AdventHealth Southlands. The nurses were awesome and very caring.
Our primary nurse, J’Nai, offered me food because she found out I was hungry. She then brought me a warm dinner and offered me other snacks and a drink. I was blown away by her caring attitude towards me because I was not even the patient. J’Nai was not obligated to feed me, but she went out of her way to do so. It meant the world to me. Jesus said, “feed thy neighbor.” J’Nai did just that.
