JoAnn has been an exemplary nurse. My dad calls her "his angel". She has been like a member of our extended family in how she cares for my dad. I believe she loves him and her profession. She sees nursing as a purpose, ministry, and passion. There hasn't been one encounter but too many to describe here. Her attention, empathy, and care are truly remarkable. My dad calls her the "best nurse ever". Whenever he knows that JoAnn is here and will be caring for him, he beams, and we as a family feel confident he will be well cared for. Even before her shift starts JoAnn is a helpful hand. She matters to my dad and my family.
