Not all birth stories are beautiful and magical. Some are scary and traumatic as was mine when my baby girl was rushed to the NICU and I was admitted for severely high blood pressure. I don’t know how I would have gotten through that time without Joanne. She went above and beyond to help me and she is truly an asset to JSUMC. She listened to me, talked to me, and comforted me. She heard my concerns and advocated for me at a time when I couldn't advocate for myself. I am eternally grateful to her. She shared stories of her own family and her own child and it made me feel not so alone. She is a kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable nurse, even more so she is an amazing person. I am blessed to have met her when I did and I appreciate her more than I can express with words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Joanne! Thank you for recognizing that I needed help and for the extra care, going to the end of the earth to make sure I received that care. You made a difference in our lives, mine especially and I am forever grateful. I will always remember what you did for me and cherish you. You are an amazing nurse and human being. You were a blessing and a gift in my life and a shining light through a difficult storm. I could never thank you enough for the kindness, for being the shoulder when I needed it. You’re a nurse deep down in your soul and it truly shines through. I hope you never stop because you're truly a treasure! Thank you for being you! You're genuine, so refreshing, you are authentic and I’m so blessed to have met you!
