Jocelyn "Rosie" Houck, MSN, RN

Rosie Houck was one of my Nurses on one of the evenings that I was here at the 5 East wing. The VA experience overall is a rough one but Rosie was the sugar in the bitter tea. Her kindness and compassion were like the breaking dawn over a stormy night. The integrity she demonstrated as I badgered her constantly over my pain, cold, and anxiety was second to none. She is an angel walking this earth. Rosie’s technical knowledge of her job while answering every one of my questions with such precision that it surprised me that she has only been doing this job for only a few years. I would be thrilled to have her as a nurse again.
