She went out of her way to advocate with the nursing supervisor, MD, and MRI to get the MRI that my mom needed.
Jordan was with my mom from the time she got out of the ambulance and kept her calm while we were en route to the hospital. She was instrumental in getting my mom the scans she needed as quickly as possible. She went out of her way to advocate with the nursing supervisor, MD, and MRI to get the MRI that my mom needed.
My mom had an MRI within an hour of arriving at the ED instead of waiting potentially another day or even two. Jordan was absolutely right in her push for an urgent MRI because it found a stroke that was not seen in the initial CT scan.
My mom has a very serious diagnosis of glioblastoma and has had multiple brain surgeries, treatments, and clinical trials, so early identification of the stroke was imperative to salvage her already very sensitive and damaged brain.
We were discharged within 24 hours so we could go back to NYC where Mom is doing a clinical trial to save her life from the cancer. We believe that this would never have happened so quickly without Jordan’s advocacy and care.
We will forever be grateful to her.
