“My husband had his room already as directed by his doctor. He was taken directly to it by the ambulance. I arrived about 30 minutes later and was shocked to see he already had a bath and shaved by this nurse, Joseph Kukla. He is a caring and compassionate nurse. My husband was very ill and passed away on 12/12/2011. He told me he wished Joseph was his son and loved him (quote). Joseph saw to it that he was comfortable and dry. I was there 90% of the time and saw it with my own eyes. My husband was dying and Joseph made sure he was comfortable and wanting for nothing. I would love to see Joseph Kukla get this award as I know it would have made my husband very happy.”
