Joseph Wright loves what he does and that shines through as greatness on his delivery of service. I find it endearing that he calls me 'friend' every time he greets me. I had a rough and painful night, and when Joseph recognized it the following morning when he came in, he took immediate actions to get things right. He called the doctor and got the necessary changes made to my pain medications to finally bring me down from my constant high level of pain.
Joseph's mindset is that the patient's care and pain control are his top priority, and that drives the course of actions that he takes. He is professional and doesn't need me to drive him towards the proper actions to take. No matter the level of my pain, he can make me smile or distract me with his light conversation about the world or our surroundings. I wish that I could have him as my nurse every day, but I know he also has a wonderful life outside of here and there are other patients that need to feel safe in his care.
