Josephine "Josie" T Naumann, RN, BSN

Back in November 2021, I was transferred to Barnes-Jewish Hospital, 4 hours away from my family. Josie was the nurse that helped with my admission. Right from the beginning it felt like I had known her for years. She has such a relaxing energy about her. I was truly going through one of the worst events in my life to date, she honestly kept me sane. I really don't know how I would have made it through my 10-day stay without her. She will never really know how much of an impact she had on my life. She was such a light in a dark time. I don't know if she'll ever see this but thank you so much. You not only joked and laughed with me, but you kept my mental health in check even if you didn't realize it. You also didn't hesitate to braid my week's unwashed hair before my surgery. I will never forget her, or what she did for me.
