A myocardial infarction patient had an inferior response to one of his critical antiplatelet medications. He also had a few medications that needed to be adjusted to achieve the optimal outcomes. Unfortunately, the patient was discharged before staff had time to make any suggestions and later the patient refused to come back. This could have been a life-threatening readmission. It was after all the staff left, Josh volunteered to deliver all the critical meds to patient's home and watch him take the right medication and took the corrected medications that were needing to be adjusted.
He does this kind of job every day. This is just one of his exemplary cases to show how much Josh helps HCMC carry out our mission because he clearly shares our visions.
