Recently a family member told us how her daughter had been in and out of hospitals for multiple years, but that one nurse, in particular, stood out to her as knowing her daughter well. She described how Josh knew that the patient wasn’t herself when she arrived to the unit, and how he not only took great care of the daughter – but kept the mother informed, easing her fears. Josh ensured that the patient’s dignity was maintained, and always took the time to explain results. Josh kept his colleagues up-to-date so they could continue to provide excellent care and was always sure to follow up with the mother, which made her feel confident that her daughter was in safe, capable hands. The patient and her family are so very thankful for Josh’s care, and told us that it is obvious that he truly cares about his patients!
