Juanita runs a tight ship. Kind of intimidating at first, but we quickly realized she is a professional through-and-through. She cares a lot for her nurses and I think that is obvious. But she very much cares for patients. That means so much to our family. As a manager myself, I recognize a good boss - tough, fair, has her folks’ back. That’s the kind of boss you want to work for! I also watch how her employees react and it’s clear there’s a lot of respect. Juanita took a lot of time explaining the pros and cons of treatments. As this is Mother’s 6th bout with cancer, getting good, solid, and understandable info is critical. Getting it from someone who knows how to communicate in these situations is priceless.
