While the nursing care is wonderful, Judy was exceptional in so many ways. She was one of the busiest nurses, but was always able to take great care of my 100-year-old mother and anticipating her needs. Judy was exceptionally great at keeping up with all the changes in physician orders and any scheduled procedures. Without her we would have been completely unaware of what was going on.
One day shortly after lunch was delivered, someone shows up and wants to take my mother down for an ultrasound. Judy kindly intervened and asked that they come later so my mother could get her lunch. Keeping us informed of all orders, tests, and procedures, allowed us to be participants in the care.
Judy has a wonderful way of being warm and caring without being syrupy. Of all the great care we have had at the hospital, Judy's efficiency, thoughtfulness, and professionalism sets the bar very high. When I would arrive at the hospital every morning I was thrilled when I would see Judy was there. She gave me such great confidence.
