Julia Amell, BSN, RN

Julia Amell exemplifies each and every UHS value day in and day out. She is the South Tower 4 Unit Coordinator. She stays present and goes above and beyond for her staff, patients, and family. Julia has a smiling face when needed the most. She makes the environment on South Tower 4 one for staff and patients to enjoy. Julia goes out of her way to prioritize us here on her unit. Willing to put the office work aside at any moment, Julia will jump in to assist with patient care or simply be there for someone no matter if they have been staff for a day or years. I personally have witnessed Julia change someone's day with her compassion. She is an innovative leader who gained the trust of all her staff through respect by continuing to better the unit and advocating for her staff. We could not ask for a better Unit Coordinator!
