Though my overall hospital stay was rather rocky, words can't describe how incredibly well I was treated by the nurses and in particular nurse Julia in pre-op. As a thirty-six-year-old mother of two young children, I was nearly delirious with fear as my case was an emergency. With this said, the moment I was brought into pre-op, Julia said to me, "I will take care of you as a mother would. I will tuck you in and be by your side every step of the way". By the time I was actually rolled into the operating room, Julia managed to evoke total tranquility in me. I will be forever indebted to her for the kindness she showed me.
