When I met Julie she came to the room to begin ostomy teaching. My husband had post-op complications and was being transferred to critical care. She just looked at me saw how upset I was and just hugged me tightly and listened to my concerns as his wife and a nurse myself for past 45 years. We had already been in the hospital for 12 days and I had never left my husband's bedside. I was exhausted and she had such kind words of support. She followed us to ICU and again was there when things were not going well. She intervened, offered her support, addressed concerns with the appropriate people and made things happen. Having spent my life as a nurse it was wonderful having her expertise, knowledge, and understanding. She is truly an asset to nursing and TMC. What a dedicated nurse who still demonstrates how much she cares.
