Julie was like a mom to me the whole time I was on the unit. She motivated me and encouraged me when I was nervous about trying new medications. She was patient with me and eased my nerves by letting me know that everything will be ok. Julie was always positive and calm regardless of what was going on in the evening when things were hectic. One day I told her about my struggle with thyroid nodules and she shared her story that her husband struggles with swallowing as well, letting me know I was not alone.
