Julie was nominated by a colleague who wanted to recognize her for always being a patient advocate amidst the hustle and bustle of a very busy emergency department. The nomination stated:
"On this particular day, Julie was the primary RN for a female patient who presented with signs and symptoms of a stroke. This patient was very scared and reluctant to consent to TPA. Julie provided patient centered care, demonstrating immense compassion and understanding. She demonstrated the art of nursing at a level to which we all strive".
Julie is asset to the Aria Health Nursing department and FC-ED family.
