June was attentive to my sister's suffering, taking time to understand all the elements of her needs and personality.
My sister had been in the hospital for over 1.5 weeks when June took over her care. I noticed right away her seasoned competence and "no-nonsense" approach and at the same time her very caring and open communication. Someone I felt I could trust and noticed my sister liked right away. My sister is fighting a very aggressive strain of pneumonia that all the doctors have expressed their doubt they could treat effectively. But June was attentive to my sister's suffering, taking time to understand all the elements of her needs and personality, and in particular noticing other wounds none of the other nurses did which she addressed immediately. She figured out other ways to make my sister comfortable. She took the time to show me blood reports, CT Scans, and X Rays. Each time/day she was here/on duty I had greater peace of mind and was grateful for all the extra things she did. June is a credit to her profession and went beyond and above the standard. She deserves to be recognized and I hope she is!
