My husband was rushed to the Emergency Room in V fib. Despite the care that the paramedics and the ER staff provided, my husband did not survive. I cannot express how wonderful, kind, and compassionate June was. She let my family and me visit with my husband as many times as we needed to say our final goodbyes. It was important for me to remove his wedding ring myself as I had placed it on his finger 29 years ago and I wanted to be the one who removed it. It was very difficult and she was so kind in assisting me with my wish. I had many questions about what had happened as he had no symptoms, no heart disease and no indication of what was happening. She kindly and patiently answered all of my questions. She sat with me and held my hand and cried along side of me. Being a nurse for her is not just a job, it's a true calling. Thank you for all that you did that evening, you made a difference.
