Kaitlyn was amazing with my mom who was having hip surgery after falling. My mom was very anxious about the surgery and was upset the surgery was happening after 8 pm. Kaitlyn sat with my mom and me and was so patient. She talked to my mom like a human and not just a patient. My mom and Kaitlyn are from Pittsburgh and they talked for over 30 minutes about the area. This calmed my mom down and eased her anxiety. Kaitlyn then talked to her about the surgery, recovery, and pain control. She did a great job teaching her about postop complications to look for and hip precautions. Kaitlyn went well above her job duties. She is a true healthcare hero and an angel sent from heaven.
